The Chicago Bulls cleared out some roster space on Monday.
They announced that they were waiving Mouhamadou Gueye, via a post on X.
Gueye is a 6-foot-9 forward who played 11 games with the Toronto Raptors at the NBA level in 2023-24.
Most recently, Gueye played for the Capital City Go-Go in the G League last season (affiliate of the Washington Wizards). At the G League level, Gueye put up 10 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
Gueye was in camp with the Bulls on an Exhibit 10 deal. That means if he clears waivers and so chooses, he can sign with the Windy City Bulls in the G League and earn a bonus if he spends 60 days with Chicago's affiliate.

A native of Staten Island, Gueye had a winding college journey.
He began it downstate at the junior college level at Monroe Community College. He then went on to Stony Brook before concluding his college hoops career for the Pitt Panthers.
Gueye went undrafted in 2022, and all his action for the Raptors in the NBA came in the winter and spring of 2024.
In his 11 NBA games, Gueye averaged 2.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and an impressive 1.6 blocks per game in just 10.9 minutes per night.
It's clear he can protect the rim, and he'll have to hope that skill intrigues another NBA team to give him a chance soon enough.
