The search for Phillies Karen is leading to false news and speculations every other day.
Ever since Friday, a middle-aged woman dressed in a Philadelphia Phillies jersey snatched Harrison Bader's home run ball from the young kid's father, the internet has been trying to find the woman.
One such rumor trending on social media is an AI extension of an image of the said Phillies Karen woman with an apology accompanying the post.

Did Phillies Karen make an apology video?
A post from "Meanwhile in Delco" on Facebook suggests that Phillies Karen has come forward to issue a public apology while sharing the kind of reaction she has been receiving from the people surrounding her.
The caption of the post read: "BREAKING: Phillies Karen speaks to the public. She says she can't leave her home now because everyone is yelling “Karen Ballsnatcher" at her. She claims it’s not fair how everyone is treating her."
The same account shared another post, where a slightly different image generated by AI was posted with the following message:
"Breaking: Phillies Karen makes public statement, plans to leave the country and never come back. She claims everyone is treating her unfair."
The post was accompanied by several images that show the Phillies Karen crying. The images make it seem so real that some users might be tricked into believing something entirely false. However, the fact of the matter remains that there is no such apology video in place and users should be beware of such false speculations.

What we know so far about Phillies Karen story
There is still no concrete info on who the actual Phillies Karen is. Earlier, there were rumors that her name was Cheryl Richardson-Wagner. However, Cheryl took to Facebook and posted that she's not the Phillies Karen everyone is looking for, while also adding that she was a Red Sox fan.
Another name that was buzzing is Leslie-Ann Kravitz, who was rumored to be fired from the Hammonton Public Schools due to online backlash. However, this accusation turned out to be wrong as the school came forward to deny their involvement with the Phillies Karen in any way.
It seems the internet is coming up short in identifying the woman behind all this fiasco.
