The New York Yankees saw their superstar hit a game-tying home run in an elimination game to extend the ALDS. Aaron Judge launched an impressive three-run homer off the left field foul pole, in what could be described as his signature postseason moment.
After the game, many different people around the baseball world were in awe of Judge's homer, including Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider.
CBS Sports' Matt Snyder shared the postgame comments from Schneider, who praised Judge for his home run while also jokingly wishing to never face Judge again this postseason.
Aaron Judge has Blue Jays manager John Schneider wishing not to face the Yankees superstar again
"Hopefully he gets a bad night's sleep and has some bad food tonight or something like that." Schneider joked with reporters postgame. "Give him credit, man, that was a ridiculous swing."
In what might've been the best swing of Judge's life, he turned on a 100 mph fastball on the inside part of the plate from Louis Varland. It wasn't a pitch that many people can hit, let alone knock out of the park.
Judge launched the inside fastball off the left field foul pole to tie the game at 6-6, and put the Yankees in position to take the lead, which they did later in the game. New York is still on the edge of elimination. But, for now, they lived to fight another day.
For Schneider, his comments echo the thoughts of Blue Jays fans and anyone facing the Yankees. They hope they never have to face Judge again. He's one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball history, and this moment exemplified how much he can change a game with one swing.

The home run Judge hit isn't something anyone can blame Varland for. It was a great pitch, and yet, Judge turned on it with an even better swing.
It's one of the more impressive swings in baseball history, and Judge has the Yankees alive, with a chance to win Game 4 and force a winner-takes-all Game 5 back in Toronto.
Judge deserves all the credit for this hit, which Schneider easily gave. The Blue Jays manager is jokingly hoping not to face Judge again this October, though he has at least one more game against the most dangerous hitter in baseball.
Judge and the Yankees will face the Blue Jays in Game 4 on Wednesday, October 8th, at 7:08 p.m. with Cam Schlittler on the mound for the Yankees, and Varland opening the game for the Blue Jays.
