New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has a ton of praise for the New York Mets and the roster they built.
The Yankees dropped two of three to the Mets over the weekend after being swept by the Toronto Blue Jays. Following the series loss to the Mets, Judge had a ton of praise for the roster and how good the Mets are.
“The Mets are the Mets, man,” Judge said. “They got a great ballclub. It starts with their manager. Mendy, I've seen him for years here, he's going to get the boys fired up, ready to go. It's a great ballclub. They've got a great pitching staff, their whole lineup is deep.

“Then they added a guy like Juan Soto right in the middle of it, it's always a tough matchup,” Judge added. “So they've been one of the toughest teams we've faced all year, and hopefully looking forward to seeing them down the road."
With the series win over the Yankees, the Mets are now 52-39 and 1.5 games back of the Philadelphia Phillies for the top spot in the NL East. The Mets, meanwhile, are atop the NL Wild Card.
As for the Yankees, New York is 49-41 and three games back of the Blue Jays for the top spot in the division. Judge, meanwhile, is hitting .360 with 33 home runs and 74 RBIs.
