The Los Angeles Dodgers are not done with their season yet, and they are already getting linked to one of the most prized free agents, Kyle Tucker. MLB insider Jon Heyman finds Tucker a perfect fit for the Dodgers.
In his latest column on The Post, Heyman thinks Tucker can be a big boost to the club's outfield. Since Mookie Betts has converted to shortstop, the Dodgers are using Teoscar Hernandez in right field. But he likes left field more. Heyman also said that the Dodgers' spending power is also a reason, given that they were on Juan Soto last offseason.
https://t.co/VHsBgHsHmk Dodgers expected to pursue Kyle Tucker: 1. They like him 2. OF is the least of their strengths 3. Presumably they have $ left after pursuing Soto 4. Of course they do.

The update comes just after the Dodgers swept the Milwaukee Brewers to reach the World Series for the second straight year. Questions are being raised about whether their offseason spending has resulted in lopsided competition in the league.
Fans react to latest Kyle Tucker to Dodgers update
After winning the NLCS, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts added fuel to the fire by saying, "Let's ruin baseball." It was a hit back at those detractors, who called the Dodgers for buying their way to the top.
In the wake of recent Kyle Tucker development, fans echoed the sentiments, but not in favor of the Dodgers.
"Dodgers ruining baseball," one fan wrote.
"Dodgers will pursue and sign this guy for $1, then defer $1.7 billion to secure his services. It’s getting to the point that the other owners have to cowboy up," another fan added.
"Year 5 of the luxury tax should be a minimum of $10 for every dollar over the threshold. The Dodgers' ownership should be cutting a billion-dollar check to non-luxury tax-paying teams," one fan suggested an idea to stop the Dodgers' spending spree.
"And yet someone will write an article to justify how it's 'good for baseball,'" one fan wrote in a sarcastic sense.
There were several more such reactions, all calling out the Dodgers for spending so big that it makes their team as good as an All-Star team.
The Dodgers will be the favorites this World Series, and it shouldn't be a shock if they do win easily like last year, when they only required five games to beat the New York Yankees.
