The Los Angeles Dodgers are proving they have the best starting rotation in all of MLB with two dominating performances by Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto to open up the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers.
On Tuesday, Yamamoto twirled a complete game after giving up a leadoff home run to Jackson Chourio. Blake Snell made history of his own on Monday when he provided eight no-run innings, 10 strikeouts, and zero walks.
Dodgers' teammates have alleviated a lot of pressure off Los Angeles's offense
The Dodgers have scored just seven runs over the first two games in the Championship Series, but really haven't had to do all that much due to the dominance of the starting pitching. In game one, Los Angeles held a 1-0 lead for most of the game, scored an insurance run late, and ended up winning 2-1.
Per ESPN's Jesse Rogers, after Tuesday's performance by Yoshi, the Dodgers are the first team to have two starters go 8+ innings in consecutive postseason games in one series since the San Francisco Giants in games 4 and 5 of the 2010 World Series.
The two Giants starters? Madison Bumgarner and Tim Lincecum. The Giants won the World Series in 2010.

Now, the Dodgers get to enjoy three straight games at Dodger Stadium, and it's already been reported that Shohei Ohtani will also pitch in this series.
If the Brewers want any chance of coming back in this series, they will have to win game three and avoid going down 3-0.
