The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have added a first-round pick to their roster.
He's an old friend, too, having previously been a part of the organization.
Carson Fulmer agreed to a minor-league deal with the Angels this week after being let go by the Pirates.
Fulmer was once a first-rounder by the White Sox. He has also spent time in the organizations of the Tigers, Orioles and Reds.
The big right-hander spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Angels, pitching 96.2 innings with a 4.00 ERA.
He made 29 relief appearances and eight starts in 2024 for the Angels.

Fulmer didn't break camp with Pittsburgh and has thrown 42.2 innings for Triple-A Indianapolis on the 2025 season so far. He has a 4.64 ERA, having gotten shelled as a starter but been better out of the bullpen.
The Angels have one of the worst pitching staffs in baseball. It wouldn't be shocking to see Fulmer called up soon enough.
First, he'll report to Triple-A Salt Lake City to try and prove he still belongs in the major leagues.
