Wyatt Langford is one of baseball's rising stars.
On Wednesday night, the Texas Rangers outfielder was rising, literally.
Langford pulled a ground ball to shortstop, and the throw by Tampa Bay's Jose Caballero pulled first baseman Jonathan Aranda wide of the bag toward the home plate side.
Aranda was lunging into the path of Langford.
The only way to get to first base was for Langford to jump.
He hurdled Aranda, who made a last-ditch reach upward for a tag.
On the field, an out was called. But on review, Langford was safe with a successful challenge.

Insert a couple of football jokes here: Saquon Barkley would be proud, and the Dallas Cowboys should call Langford up.
In all seriousness, it's not often baseball players get to show off their leaping ability, especially on the basepaths.
This was a bit risky in terms of potential injury, but it all worked out for Langford and the Rangers.
