Jayden Daniels has been officially ruled out for Week 3. This comes after the Washington Commanders quarterback had been dealing with a knee injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers on TNF.
This will, of course, impact any of your other fantasy skill players on the Washington Commanders, especially the pass catchers. What are their outlooks like with Marcus Mariota as the starter?
If you have Daniels on your fantasy football team, we have a list of replacements below, too.

Marcus Mariota will replace Jayden Daniels for Week 3
After noticeably limping following an awkward landing in Week 2, Jayden Daniels has been ruled out with a knee sprain. This was confirmed after Daniels missed all week of practice and returned Friday as a limited participant.
According to head coach Dan Quinn, it sounds like this is in hopes of Daniels being fully ready to go for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. It does not seem as if Daniel's injury is serious.

Commanders Week 3 fantasy outlook vs. the Raiders with Marcus Mariota
Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel, Zach Ertz
This, without a doubt, hurts these pass catchers' fantasy upside, but it's more of a credit to how good Daniels is. Mariota has shown the ability to be successful in this Commanders offense in the past, having stepped into a big role twice last season and throw for 4 touchdowns along with 366 yards across two games, plus averaging 45 rushing yards.
You should be most worried about Terry McLaurin, as he has been struggling even with Daniels as the starter. Zach Ertz and Deebo Samuel both offer safe completions for Mariota.
Samuel can also turn any play into a home run, so he's still in your lineup.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt
As far as the value standpoint goes, nothing changes in how we view Jacory Croskey-Merritt. The matchup is not fantastic, but if he gets the kind of volume we think he's going to get, he can be started.
On the other hand, whether he's actually good is still in question.

Waiver pickups to replace Jayden Daniels in Week 3
- Carson Wentz, Minnesota Vikings (5% rostered in Yahoo! Fantasy Sports leagues)
- Russell Wilson, New York Giants (16% rostered)
- Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals (23% rostered)
Russell Wilson is the best option on this list. He just had a massive performance against the Cowboys and now faces the Chiefs on SNF in what could be a great game.
Carson Wentz and Jake Browning are both taking over for their injured starters, and funny enough, they play each other in Week 3. Personally, Browning feels like a safer option due to his familiarity with running that offense before.
