Everyone wants to start their season with a win, and that starts with Thursday Night Football. This could mean you play the right player or avoid the dud.

Week 1 TNF provides a historic rivalry between the defending Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles vs the Dallas Cowboys.

Here is everything you need to know about tonight's game for your fantasy football lineups.

TNF Week 1 Start 'Em: Cowboys vs. Eagles

Must-starts

Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles: There might be a more consistently safe option in fantasy football than Hurts. Regardless of the game script, he's going to score you points.

Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: No one should need reassurance starting Barkley; you drafted him high for a reason. Barkley's last two games against the Cowboys weren't the best, but he's going to feast tonight.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys: Again, you're going to play Lamb regardless of the matchup. While this is a tough defense, the game script should be there as Dallas is expected to be playing catch-up.

George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys: Everyone is going to realize how good Pickens is tonight. He's never truly been able to show it, and now he's the WR2 behind Lamb, who should draw most of the attention.

Brandon Aubrey, K, Dallas Cowboys: Dallas can move the ball with the weapons they have, but whether they will be able to consistently get into the end zone is what matters. Aubrey should have plenty of opportunities for points.

Likely plays

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys: It's not going to be a fun matchup for Prescott on TNF, but the game script is going to be there. It feels safe to say Prescott is going to throw the ball 40 times tonight.

AJ Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: Philadelphia's WRs are immensely talented, but the Eagles are just too good sometimes to support a WR1 in fantasy. You're going to play Brown; it's hit or miss whether he has one of those big games we know he can.

DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: Smith is here for the same reason that Brown is. Again, has the ability to be a great WR in fantasy, but sometimes the game scripts are not there.

Jake Elliott, K, Philadelphia Eagles: There will be plenty of points to be had by Elliott, but you just can't be confident it'll be FG attempts instead of PATs.

WEEK 1 LINEUP TIPS: Fantasy Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 1

Sleepers

Will Shipley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: In deeper leagues, Shipley could provide a decent fantasy performance. This is, of course, under the assumption that the Eagles roll the Cowboys. Shipley could get some solid late-game work when Barkley's night is done.

Javonte Williams, RB, Dallas Cowboys: A lot of people are out on Williams this season, and they're probably correct. However, Williams offers high upside in the receiving game, especially in games where Dallas is expected to trail.

TNF Week 1 Busts: Sit 'Em for Cowboys at Eagles

Miles Sanders, RB, Dallas Cowboys: Williams should be the more productive back tonight. This game does not appear to favor Sanders, and you should not expect him to have a huge role.

Jake Ferguson, TE, Dallas Cowboys: The Eagles allowed just 5.1 fantasy points per game last year from the TE position. Ferguson has not had much recent success against them either.

Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: Goedert is not a reliable player in fantasy football anymore. He's been plagued by injuries and is the fourth or fifth option in this Eagles offense. You'll have to bank on a TD for Goedert ever to be valuable.
