The 2025 Koori Knockout has come to an end after an incredible weekend of footy.
Tamworth can now lay claim to hosting the biggest Knockout in the history of the carnival, as over 170 teams gathered over the four days.
The atmosphere was electric, with thousands of people turning out to celebrate culture, community and competition.

Who won the 2025 Koori Knockout?
In the men's final, the Newcastle Yowies edged out the Bourke Warriors, clinching the title by the narrowest of margins.
On the women's side, the Newcastle Yowies again came out on top, defeating Wiradjuri Aboriginal Rivers 14-0.

Where will the 2026 Koori Knockout be played?
As tradition dictates, the winner of the previous year earns the right to host.
With the Yowies taking out both adult competitions, the Knockout will likely return to Raymond Terrace in 2026, though no official venue has been confirmed.
