Canterbury have endured a tough past month as they have won just one of their last four matches.
The Bulldogs put Manly to the sword in Round 21, but were then brought crashing back down to earth when they slipped to a loss against the Wests Tigers that has been a sign of things to come.
The Dogs beat New Zealand before slipping to back-to-back defeats against the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne.
Cameron Ciraldo's side will now look to get back to winning ways when they take on a second-string Penrith side.
