One of the most polarizing figures in women’s basketball, Kim Mulkey is turning heads with her kind gesture ahead of LSU’s Sweet 16 matchup with NC State.
Mulkey decided to bring her practice players — a contingent that often does not travel with the team — on the plane for the team’s matchup in Spokane, Washington.

LSU (with the help of its practice players) has been dominant in its first games of the tournament. The Tigers have defeated 14th-seeded SDSU and sixth-seeded Florida State by a combined 85 points.
