Liv McGill is on a historic run for the University of Florida Gators women's basketball team.
In fact, she's putting up numbers right now that have only ever been done once before in high-level basketball in the United States dating to 2000.
In her first two games this season, McGill has put up these combined stats:
- 64 points
- 17 rebounds
- 19 assists
- 12 steals
OptaStats shared the rarity of this stretch with a shocking comparison dating back to the year 2000.
Those stats have never been done in a two-game span in women's Division I college basketball. They've never been done in a two-game span in men's D-I college hoops. They've never been done in a two-game span in the WNBA.
And only one player in the NBA has put up these numbers over two games since 2000: Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat legend. He did it on Feb. 28 and March 2 in 2009.

The only other NBA, WNBA or Division I men's or women's player this century to have 60/15/15/10 in those categories over a 2-game span was Dwyane Wade from February 28 to March 2, 2009. Pic.twitter.com/7DFHbmgBV9
McGill and the Gators will have tougher opponents soon enough.
But right now, McGill is putting the basketball world on notice. She's hooping at the highest possible level.
Her recent play has hardly ever been done on a basketball floor. That's pretty incredible.
