For Minnesota, Kayla McBride was the top scorer with 31 points. McBride had four rebounds and two assists as well.

With the loss of the Lynx, the WNBA will have a new champion. For Phoenix, it's their first trip to the WNBA Finals since 2021. That season, they lost to the Chicago Sky.

The Mercury have not won the WNBA Finals since the 2014 season when they swept Chicago behind Diana Taurasi's big series. Phoenix has been in the postseason every season since 2013 except for 2023, when they won just nine games.

Phoenix will now await the winner of Game 5 between the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever. Game five is back in Vegas on Tuesday.
