Phoenix Mercury rookie Lexi Held might not be back on the court anytime soon.

Held suffered a partially collapsed lung (pneumothorax) during the team's game against the Liberty, an injury that has left her sidelined with no timetable for return. The injury occurred when Held dove to the floor to catch a loose ball and collided with Breanna Stewart.

Fans initially believed Held had injured her ribs before the extent of the situation was revealed.

Held's injury also kept her from flying back to Arizona — instead, she and Mercury physical therapist Ashely Lea had to take a multi-day train trip back after the team's game.

Held is in her first season in the WNBA after spending several years playing overseas.
