"Alyssa Thomas is leading the league in assists per game (9.0)," the team wrote in a post shared on X June 20. "Alyssa Thomas is leading the league in total assists (81) although she missed 5 games. Alyssa Thomas is shooting 53% from the field."

"This is an All-Star. This is Mercury Basketball," the team added along with a link to voting.

Thomas is a five-time WNBA All-Star (2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024) and was traded to the Mercury this year in a major four-team deal. Thomas has also been selected to the All-WNBA First Team twice and the All-WNBA Second Team once.
