After a thrilling regular season, eight teams are left standing in their pursuit of a WNBA title.
The 2025 WNBA Playoffs will begin with a quadruple-header on Sunday, Sept. 14, and there's no shortage of intrigue — especially since we'll get more games than ever before, with the WNBA Finals extended to a best-of-seven series.
The Lynx roll into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed on the heels of a 34-win regular season, and they are seeking revenge after falling in the WNBA Finals last season. MVP candidate Napheesa Collier leads a dynamic offense that averages the most points per game of any team.
If the Lynx get past the Valkyries in their first-round matchup, they could find themselves face-to-face with the Liberty in what would be a highly anticipated WNBA Finals rematch. New York certainly boasts plenty of talent, led by Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones.
On the other side of the bracket, the Aces roar into the postseason riding a 16-game winning streak. They haven't lost since Aug. 2, and any team with A'ja Wilson is undoubtedly dangerous.
Don't overlook the Dream, though. Atlanta doubled its win total from the 2024 season, setting a new franchise record with 30 wins.
