Three short months after the epic 2023 WNBA Finals series between the Aces and Liberty wrapped, we move one step closer to the 2024 WNBA season with the official start of free agency.

Teams could begin discussions with available free agents on Sunday, Jan. 21 but contracts couldn't be signed until Thursday, Jan. 1. These dates are important to know as the 2024 offseason period can mark a shift in power among teams looking to dethrone the back-to-back champs in Las Vegas.

Six-time All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith is the most notable available free agent, who appears ready to move on from Phoenix after a dispute that began while she was on maternity leave.

Elena Delle Donne was another one of the headliners of this year's WNBA offseason, but the two-time MVP has reportedly elected to "take time away from basketball" as she "continues to weigh her career options," according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Below you can find the full list of free agents whose decisions will headline the 2024 WNBA offseason.
