Thursday's meeting between WNBA players and the league's leadership reportedly ended with athletes left with "little to say," the New York Post reported Thursday night. The Post also noted that least 40 players attended the meeting to support the efforts of the union.

WNBA players are renegotiating their union contract, which is set to expire at the end of October. Athletes are asking for increased salaries and benefits, including maternity options and care, as well as an increased portion of revenue shared.

The union is led by Nneka Ogwumike, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, Alysha Clark, Elizabeth Williams, and Brianna Turner.

It is unclear when the two groups will have another opportunity for a face-to-face meeting.
