After receiving the most fan votes, Stewart and Wilson will duel as All-Star captains for the second consecutive year. Last year, Team Wilson defeated Team Stewart at the All-Star Game in Chicago.

Boston, who was selected first overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft, is the sixth rookie to start in the All-Star Game and the first since 2014.

New York's Sabrina Ionescu and Atlanta's Allisha Gray just missed the cut at guard. In the frontcourt, Connecticut's Alyssa Thomas and Washington's Elena Delle Donne didn't receive enough votes to earn the start.
