The 2026 WNBA Draft is loaded with talent, and the Dallas Wings will have their pick of the bunch after winning the draft lottery last month.

But the Wings have flirted with the idea of fielding trade offers for the #1 overall selection, and there is no clear-cut top prospect waiting for Dallas at the top of the board.

While much can change between now and the night of the draft on April 13, WNBA legend Candace Parker has weighed in by encouraging the Wings to pass on UConn sharpshooter Azzi Fudd -- the partner of Dallas' star point guard Paige Bueckers -- at first overall.

“I think for Azzi I would probably love to see her with Minnesota," Parker said on Wednesday's episode of Post Moves. "You're coming into a team that is already really good."

Instead, Parker thinks TCU guard Olivia Miles -- regarded as the draft's best passer -- would be a better fit next to Bueckers.

"Paige is a scoring guard that facilitates and is a great passer," Parker said. "But Olivia is just straight up going to get you in your offense and push pace, hit you with some nice passes.”

For many, Fudd's pure shooting talent is a rare trait worthy of a #1 overall selection. Fudd is shooting better than 50 percent from 3-point range this season for the top-ranked Huskies, and she is averaging an impressive 18.5 points per game.

Whether the Wings feel the same about Fudd's game -- or whether Dallas thinks a passer of Miles' caliber is the better option -- remains an open question more than four months before the draft tips off.
