At just 5'9", Veronica Burton is leading the Valkyries in assists, averaging 5.3 per game. But what truly sets her apart is something no other player in the league has done this year: Burton is the only WNBA player with multiple games of 10 or more assists and zero turnovers.

In her latest performance against the New York Liberty, she tallied seven points, 10 assists, five rebounds, one block—and again, no turnovers.

That level of precision puts her in elite company. Only a few players in WNBA history—Sue Bird, Ticha Penicheiro, and Courtney Vandersloot—have managed that kind of efficiency throughout a season. Now, Burton is carving out her place alongside them.
