Angel Reese is unmatched as a rebounder in WNBA history.
Love her or hate her, the numbers bear that out. The Chicago Sky's second-year forward hits the glass as well as anyone ever has in the league's history.
That showed itself in a big way on Monday night.
Reese finished a matchup against the Las Vegas Aces with 10 points and 17 rebounds. It was her 20th double-double of the season.
The former LSU star also had 26 double-doubles as a rookie, and that's where the record comes in.
Reese now has 46 doubles through just two seasons. That breaks the previous mark held by Tina Charles at 45, according to the WNBA's social media channels.
Charles needed 68 games to get her 45 double-doubles, while Reese has done it in just 61.
Reese is also the current league leader in double-doubles for this season, just ahead of Alyssa Thomas and A'ja Wilson.
She's averaging 14.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per game in her second year. Reese has also grown as a distributor, raising her assist average from 1.9 as a rookie to 3.7 this year. Her steals and blocks are also up, too.
There's still room for Reese to grow from a scoring efficiency standpoint, but she does a lot of things well, none better than rebounding.
There's a whole list of rebound records that Reese already has, and there will surely be more to come, because nobody grabs rebounds like Angel Reese.
