Lynx vs. Valkyries schedule: Updated scores, results and TV channels for 2025 WNBA Playoffs first-round series image

The No. 1-seeded Lynx open their WNBA playoffs against the newest team in the league, the Valkyries.

Minnesota cruised to the top seed after going 34-10 on the season, four games ahead of the Aces and Dream. They'll be looking to avenge their WNBA Finals loss in 2024.

Golden State, meanwhile, earned its first playoff appearance in the franchise's short history after going 23-21 on the year.

These two sides should be very familiar with each other, as they last faced off on Sept. 11 when the Lynx won, 72-53. Minnesota won all four matchups against Golden State this year.

The Lynx are led by Napheesa Collier, who ranks second in scoring behind the Aces' A'ja Wilson with 23.0 points per game. Collier also became the second WNBA player to register a 50-40-90 season with a 53% field goal rate, 40% 3-point rate and 91% free throw rate.

The Valkyries are led by Veronica Burton,  Cecilia Zandalasini and Janelle Salaun. That trio averages between 10.6 and 12.0 points per game this year. Golden State isn't a high-scoring team, but it ranks fourth in rebounds and third in free throw shooting.

Here is everything you need to know about the WNBA playoff series between the Lynx and Valkyries, including TV and streaming options for each game.
