Kaitlyn Chen is taking the next step in her basketball journey after a tough break in the WNBA. The former UConn standout has officially signed with 3XBA Spokane, part of the women-founded 3x3 Basketball Association, following her release from the Golden State Valkyries.

Chen, known for her poise and playmaking as a guard, made a strong impact during her time at UConn. She was a key starter on the Huskies’ most recent championship team and brought versatility to the court. Her college resume helped her earn a third-round selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft by the Valkyries, the league’s newest expansion team.
