ESPN unveiled its latest rankings of the top WNBA rookies, and some standout players are making a splash. At the top of the list is Dallas Wings’ Paige Bueckers, who has quickly proven why she deserves the No. 1 spot.

Bueckers, the first overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft, is averaging an impressive 17.7 points, 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. She’s also hit several major milestones and has the most 20+ point games by a rookie this season. With performances like these, Bueckers is making a strong case for Rookie of the Year, and the league is taking notice.
But Bueckers isn’t the only rookie impressing this year. The Washington Mystics have also found success with their impressive rookie duo, Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron. Citron is contributing 14.6 points per game, while Iriafen is not far behind with 13.2, making them the team’s second and third leading scorers.
