The WNBA season resumes Tuesday night with 10 of the league's 13 teams in action. For the Chicago Sky, that means another meeting with the WNBA-best Minnesota Lynx -- the third time in 10 days that the two teams have played one another.
Despite Angel Reese's brilliant sophomore campaign, the Sky sits 11th in the overall standings with a 7-15 record and entered the All-Star break on the heels of an 86-49 home loss to the Atlanta Dream. Still, after a 3-10 start, Chicago has improved in recent weeks -- and the franchise on Tuesday added a former WNBA champion to its ranks.

As the Sky tries to climb up the standings in the second half of the season, the team has welcomed former first-round pick Marquesha Davis on a seven-day hardship contract. Davis won the WNBA championship as a rookie on the New York Liberty last season, but the Liberty waived her on July 13.
Davis, the 11th overall pick in the 2024 draft, was a first-team All-SEC selection at Ole Miss and has totaled 32 career WNBA points. She will provide depth at guard, a position the Sky needs to reinforce, and have an opportunity to prove her worth as a WNBA-caliber scorer after struggling for chances in New York.
