Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese final score, results: Fever star drops triple-double in Indiana's blowout win over Sky image

Season two of the best rivalry in the WNBA kicked off on Saturday, with Caitlin Clark taking round one in 2025.

The superstar point guard dropped 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday, leading the Indiana Fever to a 93-58 season-opening win. It was the largest margin of victory in the first game of a season in franchise history.

Clark was locked-in from the jump, knocking down her first logo three of the season to get off and running. She was 4-8 from beyond the arc and dished out a number of dazzling assists, including a pinpoint pass on the run to Kelsey Mitchell that wowed the home crowd.

Reese was stout on the boards as usual, pulling in 17 rebounds, but the Sky struggled to find any kind of offensive rhythm and turned in an abysmal 6-27 performance from three.

A tense moment in the game occurred in the third quarter when Clark slashed down hard on Reese as she went for a layup. The forward got to her feet and began jawing with Clark, and the two had to be separated by teammates. Clark's foul was updated to a Flagrant 1, and Reese and Aliyah Boston were assessed technical fouls.

Last year's Fever-Sky matchups did not disappoint, either, with Indiana claiming the season series 3-1. While the Fever reached the playoffs in Clark's rookie season, the Sky missed the postseason in 2024. After Saturday, this rivalry is going to heat up even more as the 2025 season progresses.

The Sporting News tracked the live score, highlights, and more from Fever vs. Sky.
