It has been quite a week for Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese.
The second-year star out of LSU has posted some sensational numbers over her last four games, continuing to prove she belongs among the league’s rising stars.

Reese has recorded four straight double-doubles, with at least 10 points and 16 rebounds in each contest. The 23-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland is making her mark in the WNBA and has quickly become a force in the paint.
In that four-game stretch, she’s averaging 17.2 points and 17.5 rebounds per game, dominating the boards with relentless energy and physicality.
On Tuesday, the team recognized her accomplishments and reflected on the history she’s creating. Reese has now moved into the top 10 in Chicago Sky history for total rebounds, with 647 in her young career. The franchise leader is Sylvia Fowles, who finished with 1,832.

While that number may seem out of reach, Reese is on pace to surpass it by her fourth season in the league. She would be just 25 years old at the time.
Despite Reese’s standout performances, head coach Tyler Marsh and the Sky are off to a rough start. Chicago sits at 5-11 as they prepare for their next game on Sunday, a road matchup against the Minnesota Lynx. The Sky return home on July 9 to host Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings.
Reese’s continued growth, both as a player and a leader, could be the key to turning things around for the Sky as the season progresses.
