Fever's Sophie Cunningham offered spot as professional wrestler — call her 'The Enforcer' image

Sophie Cunningham's popularity has grown in leaps and bounds during this WNBA season, her first with the Indiana Fever.

Part of her sudden notoriety came in a sequence of games where Cunningham showed her physicality in response to opposition roughness with superstar Caitlin Clark.

It even earned Cunningham a nickname, "The Enforcer."

Sounds a bit like a wrestling name, doesn't it?

It would work, because Cunningham has an offer on the table to be a professional wrestler.

Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss co-owns Women of Wrestling, an all-female wrestling circuit. And she has invited Cunningham.

"We would love to have (Cunningham) join us at (WOW), she is talented, dedicated and a fierce competitor!!" Buss wrote on X.

It seems unlikely that the 28-year old Cunningham would leave her lifelong sport for pro wrestling, but who knows?

Given Cunningham's outgoing social media personality, there may be a TikTok coming to let us know her thoughts on the matter.
