Sophie Cunningham took a subtle shot at referees in a recent TikTok video.

The Indiana Fever's post didn't go over well with the WNBA league offices.

On Wednesday, Cunningham revealed she had been fined $500 for the video.

In a video captioned, "@ some refs," Cunningham sang along with a quick song lyric:

"Stupid, or is it slow, or is it useless."

Cunningham also wrote, "I'm just trollin."

The Fever have shared their frustration with officiating often this season. Superstar guard Caitlin Clark gets played extremely physically by opponents.

Cunningham, known as "the enforcer" for the Fever, certainly doesn't shy away from an intense game herself.

Leagues often fine players and coaches for making comments about the officiating in media appearances.

Apparently now they're watching social media, too, and Cunningham paid the $500 price.
