Expectations for Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were sky-high entering the 2025 WNBA season. After helping the Fever to snap an eight-year playoff drought in 2024, Clark easily won Rookie of the Year honors and finished fourth in MVP voting, as her explosive playing style translated almost seamlessly from the NCAA to The W.
But Clark's sophomore season has been a struggle in comparison. Amid a quadriceps injury and two separate groin injuries, Clark has missed 12 of Indiana's 25 games -- and her absence is set to extend into the Fever's upcoming games.

As the WNBA's postseason chase heats up following the All-Star Game, the Fever on Thursday revealed that Clark has no timetable to return from a right groin injury suffered on July 15. Though no additional damage or injuries were discovered in the most recent medical tests, Clark has been ruled out for Thursday's home game against the Las Vegas Aces, and the two-time All-Star is without a timetable for her return.
Caitlin Clark underwent further medical evaluations earlier this week, which confirmed that no additional injuries or damage were discovered.
