Peterson did not offer any further insight into whether or not Clark could return to play for the team this season. The Fever will play the Minnesota Lynx in Minnesapolis Sunday night, and will host the Seattle Storm at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Tuesday.
Clark's return from injury has been a seriously analyzed situation. She has suffered several injuries this season and missed more than 20 games for the team, and there is presently no specific timeline for a return to the court.
As one fan put in the comments on Peterson's post, "I have mixed feelings on this. Great to see her on the floor BUT I’m not prepared to see her get hurt again."
