How many points did Caitlin Clark score today? Full stats, results, highlights from Fever vs. Valkyries game image

After yet another extended absence due to injury, Caitlin Clark returned to the floor on Wednesday for Fever vs. Valkyries.

Indiana's star guard was sidelined for the team's past five games prior to Wednesday due to a groin injury. Before her absence, Clark was shooting uncharacteristically poorly from 3-point range and had cooled down following her hot start to the season.

As she re-entered the Fever lineup against Golden State, Clark did flash her stardom, but her impact was ultimately still limited as the WNBA All-Star Game inches closer.

In her return to the floor, Clark played a total of 25 minutes, but it wasn't one of her best performances of the season. She has typically played 30-plus minutes when healthy, so the Fever may have had her limited upon her return. Either way, she finished with 10 points, her second-lowest scoring output of the season, along with six assists.

Indiana fell behind in the second quarter, and the Valkyries ran away with the game. While Clark did connect on two three-pointers following her rough shooting stretch before her injury, her impact was limited.

As a team, the Fever managed just 19 points in both the second and fourth quarters. Clark subbed out with over four minutes remaining.

With the loss, the Fever fell to 9-10 on the season, while Golden State improved to 10-9.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Valkyries

It didn't take long for Clark to do what she does best in her return to action, downing a 3-pointer after a nice crossover.

She leaned back for a mid-range shot to get up to five first-quarter points, the total she then took into halftime.

In the third quarter, the Fever star connected on another 3-pointer.

Although Indiana would fall behind in the second half, Clark also found Damiris Dantas with a bounce pass for a bucket in the third frame.
