Coming off a 13-assist, five-steal performance in a win over the Wings, Caitlin Clark was back for a second-straight game for the Fever in a matchup against the Sun on Tuesday night.

Indiana and Connecticut have had a rivalry brewing recently. In their last matchup, tempers flared several times and there were multiple ejections.  So, another meeting between the two squads, with the WNBA All-Star break approaching, likely had a closer eye from the referees this time around.

Clark was unable to secure her first 20-point game in nearly a month, but did have an all-around effort in a Fever win. However, she exited in the fourth quarter in some pain, appearing to re-aggravate her previous groin injury.

Clark had an all-around performance against Connecticut, posting eight rebounds and seven assists alongside her 14 points, nine of which came in the fourth quarter. She was +21 in the game, and with Kelsey Mitchell and Natasha Howard combining for 38 points, that was all more than enough for Indiana to secure a win.

However, there were two areas of concern for Clark. For one, her cold streak from deep continued; she's now made just seven of her last 49 shot attempts from 3-point range, a 14.3 percent conversion rate. Although her playmaking skills were on display, and she still got to the line and had some fourth-quarter buckets, Clark's 1-for-7 mark from deep marked yet another inefficient 3-point shooting night.

Here's a breakdown of Clark's recent shooting in road games:

Then, Clark exited in the fourth quarter in clear pain, appearing to re-aggravate a groin injury that kept her sidelined for a few games recently. Clark kept a towel over her head on the bench and didn't return as Indiana secured the win.

Clark had some nice passes in the first half vs. the Sun to help with her seven assists, including setting up Howard for a look near the rim.

She also tossed a long pass to Lexie Hull for a 3-pointer:

Clark's lone 3-pointer of the game came in the fourth quarter, a key shot in the Fever pulling away.

After drawing a double-team she also found a wide-open Aliyah Boston for a bucket.

Before she exited with the injury in the fourth quarter, Clark was also spotted having a heated back-and-forth with a referee.

Things appeared civil at first, but when the referee began walking away, the Fever star had to be held back as she yelled in his direction.
