The Indiana Fever stand on the precipice of WNBA history. Will Caitlin Clark be a part of it?

The sixth-seeded Fever are one win away from reaching the WNBA Finals for the first time in 10 years. However, Indiana must win on the road against the second-seeded Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday night in a winner-take-all Game 5.

The winner of this game at Michelob ULTRA Arena will face the fourth-seeded Phoenix Mercury in the Finals, which tip off Friday. And given everything that is at stake, Clark's status continues to intrigue fans as Indiana tries to add another chapter to its storybook playoff run.

Is Caitlin Clark playing tonight vs. the Aces?

Unfortunately for Clark, the Fever and fans around the WNBA, the superstar point guard remains unavailable -- just as she has in every game since her July 15 groin injury.

After enjoying an injury-free college career at Iowa and debut season in The W, Clark on Tuesday will miss her 30th consecutive game, having confirmed on Sept. 4 that she would not return to play in 2025.

The Fever coaching staff and front office have consistently stated that Clark's long-term health is their priority. Not even a run to the WNBA Finals will change that stance -- and it may make Indiana even more optimistic about the future.

Given Kelsey Mitchell's scoring ability and Aliyah Boston's emergence as a complete threat from the center position, the Fever will look forward to slotting Clark back into the lineup in 2026 and continuing to compete deep into the postseason.
