It comes down to this for the Indiana Fever. A trip to the WNBA Finals is on the line Tuesday night, when the sixth-seeded Fever face the second-seeded Las Vegas Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Game 5 of their semifinal series. The winner moves on to face the fourth-seeded Phoenix Mercury in the finals, which tip off Friday night.
The Fever's path here has been unusual, with several players -- including superstar guard Caitlin Clark -- unavailable for large portions of the season due to injury. But thanks to the efforts of All-Star duo Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, Indiana has not only stayed afloat -- it has moved within one win of a first WNBA Finals appearance since 2015.

The Fever's future looks bright irrespective of what happens Tuesday night in Las Vegas at 9:30 p.m. ET. Clark is poised to return to full health in 2026; Mitchell is set to play in Unrivaled this offseason.
But Boston is continuing to pursue a "dual path" as a player and a broadcaster.
Front Office Sports has reported that Boston is finalizing a deal to return to NBC Sports/Peacock as a studio analyst and possible commentator for Big Ten college basketball games.
At just 23 years old, Boston -- who also has a podcast with WNBA legend Candace Parker -- is establishing a strong media footprint at the same time her game has hit a new level. The three-time All-Star scored a playoff career-high 24 points against the Aces on Sunday as the Fever won, 90-83, to force the decisive Game 5.
