Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark's on-court rivalry will be renewed on Saturday night to start the WNBA season.

With that in mind, Reese recently made a seemingly passive-aggressive comment that reflect her thoughts about Clark.

To be fair to Reese, she very well could've not had Clark on her mind. But if she did, it was a pretty savage way of insulting her biggest rival.

Reese spoke to reporters and said her goal for the year was to make the All-Defense Team. Why?

"The best players in the league are 4s, and I take that personal," she said.

Reese does have a case, with the likes of A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and more filling out the power forward ranks.

But as soon as this season, Clark will be making her own case as the league's best player, and she's a do-everything perimeter superstar, not a 4.

Clark will likely let her play do the talking when the Fever and Sky clash this weekend.

In the meantime, let the hype brew just a little bit more for one of the WNBA's most-anticipated matchups.
