Connecticut Sun update Marina Mabrey’s status for Sunday’s game image

In Friday’s matchup against the Dallas Wings, Marina Mabrey exited the game in the first half due to a left knee injury. Although she was listed as questionable at halftime, she ultimately returned to the court in the second half, giving Connecticut Sun fans hope that the issue was minor.

However, the team announced today that Mabrey is once again listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries.

Her potential absence would be a major setback for a struggling Sun team, currently at the bottom of the league standings with a 2–11 record. Mabrey is one of Connecticut’s leading scorers and the team leader in assists, playing a key role on both ends of the court. Her leadership and playmaking are vital if the Sun hope to turn their season around.
