Rhyne Howard was held scoreless in the first quarter on Friday night.
The dam was apparently just building with pressure and ready to burst, because she put on a show in the Atlanta Dream's final three quarters against the Chicago Sky.
Howard scored 36 points in that 30-minute stretch, setting her season-high.
In the process, the star drilled nine 3-pointers. That tied the WNBA single-game record.
Howard filled out the stat sheet with eight rebounds and four assists.
She was 12-for-25 from the field and 9-for-19 from 3-point range.

By night's end, Howard was letting rip on multiple heat-check 3s, and making them.
The 2022 No. 1 overall pick is already a two-time All-Star, and now she's a record holder.
The Dream have to be encouraged by this, too. If Howard can shoot and score like this, they can beat anyone.
