The former NFL standout Marcus Spears, who is now an ESPN personality, has gotten to take on the role of proud father and fan this month. That's because his daughter, Cari, is a freshman standout for the Texas Longhorns volleyball team.
Texas plays Sunday night in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament, and both Cari and her father will likely feature prominently on the broadcast.

She starred in high school at Prestonwood Christian Academy, and now she's just getting started as a star for Texas.
