AllSportsPeople' No. 5-ranked high school football team officially kicks off its season with a high-profile showdown in Alabama.
IMG, which just took down The First Academy 41-17, takes on Hoover in the ESPN High School Football Kickoff.
Last week, IMG was led by running back Le’Khy Thompkins and receiver Eric McFarland, who combined for six touchdowns in the team's preseason match.
Hoover, who went to the Alabama 7A semifinals in 2024, returned key players including defensive end Tyson Bacon and receiver Jonah Winston.
