There were a bunch of high school football teams in Arkansas that put up plenty of points on the scoreboard this past week.
Several individual standouts across “The Natural State” had a hand in those scoreboards that kept lighting up the night sky on a continual basis.
Here, now, is a look at the top performers from Week 6. Also, readers can now vote on who they think should be the Arkansas Player of the Week.

JoJo Accelus, Monticello
A junior tailback, Accelus rushed for 280 yards on 15 carries with three TDs to help the Billies to a 56-28 win against Star City.
Sedrick “Bishop” Allen, Hot Springs
The senior quarterback completed 88% of his passes and racked up 342 yards and six TDs as the Trojans prevailed, 56-7, against DeQueen.
Enoch Assan, Greenbrier
Assan rushed for 353 yards on 35 carries and scored four TDs as the Panthers improved to 6-0 after a 48-38 win against Farmington.
Colt Barrett, Poyen
In a wild 54-53 win against Hazen, the Indians’ QB completed 19-of-28 passes for 284 yards and a TD while adding 67 yards rushing on 15 carries and scoring five times.
Jace Blake, Walnut Ridge
Blake completed all six of his passing attempts for 133 yards and three TDs while adding 54 yards and a TD in the Bobcats’ 69-8 win against Piggott.
Eli Blagg, East Poinsett County
Blagg had 121 yards of total offense with a passing TD and a rushing TD with 20 seconds left as the Warriors, who trailed 16-6 in the third quarter, came back to post a 20-16 road win at Cross County.
Gabe Carter, Brookland
A senior quarterback, Carter rushed for 192 yards on 27 carries and scored two TDs as the Bearcats got their first win of the season, beating Greene County Tech, 24-7.
Tavien Clegg, Malvern
Clegg rushed for 121 yards on 15 carries and scored four TDs as the Leopards defeated Ashdown, 55-14.
Cole Creighton, Shiloh Christian
The Saints’ junior QB was 18-of-30 for 305 yards and four TDs in Shiloh Christian’s 52-24 win at Fort Smith Southside.
Drew Davis, Benton
Davis, a senior quarterback who recently committed to Southern Arkansas University, threw for 435 yards and eight TDs on 26-of-36 passing along with rushing for 63 yards and another TD as the Panthers defeated Sheridan, 87-42.
Trevion Greer, Newport
Greer rushed for 216 yards on 31 carries with two TDs and also had four solo tackles in the Greyhounds’ 34-10 win against Osceola.
Trey Harris, Conway
Harris, a senior tailback, carried the ball 24 times for 257 yards and scored three TDs as the Wampus Cats defeated Cabot, 57-28.
Isaiah Howell, Sylvan Hills
In the Bears’ 25-10 win at El Dorado, Howell rushed for 160 yards and found the end zone three times.
Carson Jones, West Fork
Jones, a junior quarterback, completed 31-of-49 passes for 454 yards and five TDs, including a 2-yard TD pass to Will Preston on the game’s final play to lift the Tigers to a 32-28 win at Cedarville, which was West Fork’s first win of the season.
Lexx Latham, Rivercrest
A sophomore, Latham caught three passes for 116 yards and a TD, rushed for 84 yards on 12 carries and had 10 tackles on defense with two tackles for loss in the Colts’ 28-21 win against Hoxie.
Andrew Lowe, Central Arkansas Christian
In the first half of a 50-0 win against Little Rock Hall, Lowe - a junior - caught a 50-yard TD pass while recording six tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery.
Cain Price, Stuttgart
Price completed 15-of-20 passes for 296 yards and five TDs and also added two rushing scores in the Ricebirds’ 56-28 win against Dewitt.
Jeff Regan, Rogers
The Mounties’ senior QB completed 11-of-15 passes for 155 yards and two TDs while rushing for 212 yards on 17 carries with five TDs as Rogers outlasted Bentonville West, 70-42.
Kollin Robinson, Bryant
Robinson rushed for 134 yards on nine carries and scored two TDs in the Hornets’ 48-14 win against Pulaski Academy.
Courtney Rogers, Blytheville
A senior running back, Rogers ran for 214 yards on 16 carries with three TDs as Blytheville defeated Highland, 26-14.
Reece Simpson, Pulaski Robinson
Simpson, a junior quarterback, was 14-of-16 passing for 174 yards and three TDs in the Senators’ 72-0 win against White Hall.
Jaxon Silvers, Van Buren
Silvers recorded 10 total tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack as the Pointers remained unbeaten in 6A-West conference play after shutting down Lake Hamilton, 36-7.
Jackson Smith, Searcy
A junior, Smith caught six passes for 156 yards and four TDs as the Lions moved to 6-0 with a 48-27 win against Jacksonville.
Wally Wolcott, Hot Springs Lakeside
A senior quarterback, Wolcott completed 18-of-27 passes for 293 yards and three TDs as the Rams defeated Arkansas High, 28-14.
JD Young, Gosnell
Young rushed for 128 yards and scored five TDs on just 11 carries to lift the Pirates to a 63-12 win against Trumann as Gosnell improved to 7-0 on the season.
