Oklahoma high school football in 2025 started strong with several key performances from highly regarded players to standouts on the rise.
Here’s a look at the top individual performances from Zero Week.
Top performances from Zero Week in Oklahoma high school football
Miguel Baray, Tyrone: A junior, Baray had two rushing TDs, one of which covered 98 yards with less than six minutes left for the eventual game-winner in the Bobcats’ 30-26 win against Turpin. He also returned an interception 92 yards for another TD and threw a two-point pass.
Davion Durham, Tulsa Booker T. Washington: Durham intercepted two passes, part of five takeaways by the Hornet defense which also included a recovered fumble in the end zone by Andrew Campanell in BTW’s 21-14 win against Muskogee.
Kane Foreman, Pawhuska: The Huskies’ quarterback was 16-of-21 passing for 249 yards and six TDs in his team’s 60-12 win against Nowata.
Kellen Fry, Cushing: A senior linebacker, Fry recorded 15 tackles, with three for losses in Cushing’s 24-23 triple-overtime win against Berryhill.
Kentrell Gaddis, Choctaw: A sophomore, Gaddis had two big-play TDs in defending Class 6A-II champion Choctaw’s 44-23 win at Lubbock (Texas) Monterey. He rushed for a 59-yard TD and also returned an interception 75 yards for another score.
Kenny Golston, Valiant: On his 18th birthday, the talented senior running back and Idaho commit had four TDs in the Bulldogs’ 35-20 win against Idabel.
Sam Hogue, Oologah: Hogue had 180 total yards of offense along with two rushing TDs and a receiving TD in the Mustangs’ 52-19 win against Vinita. He also kicked a 31-yard field goal, and was 7-of-7 on extra point attempts.
Tavion Holland, Duncan: Holland rushed for 166 yards on eight carries and three TDs while catching two passes for 91 yards and another TD in the Demons’ 30-29 win against Bridge Creek.
Greydon Howell, Broken Bow: Howell completed 16-of-23 passes for 252 yards and two TDs to help the Savages get past McAlester, 23-20. He also forced a fumble and recovered another on defense.
KD Jones, Jenks: The Trojans’ senior tailback and Oklahoma State commit rushed for 141 yards on 24 carries and three TDs and also had three catches for 67 yards and two more scores in the Trojans’ 51-7 win at Edmond Santa Fe.
Tyson Kennedy, Tuttle: Kennedy caught nine passes for 123 yards and a TD and also picked off a pass on defense as the Tigers defeated Guthrie, 38-13.
Carson Kirby, Bixby: The Spartans’ senior signal-caller completed 13-of-18 passes for 259 yards and three TDs while adding 45 rushing yards and another score in Bixby’s 49-21 win against Owasso.
Kaden Longman, Newcastle: Longman caught seven passes for 141 yards and two TDs in the Racers’ 51-34 win against Bartlesville. In that same game, also returned two kickoffs for TDs along with intercepting a pass and making five tackles.
Ritson Meyer, Elgin: A key cog in the Owls’ march to the Class 4A state title last year, Meyer picked right back up from the get-go with a five-TD rushing performance in Elgin’s 42-21 win against Lawton MacArthur. He also rushed for 166 yards on 25 carries.
Cooper McCord, Adair: McCord was 15-of-22 passing for 295 yards and five TDs in his team’s 40-14 win against Jay. He also rushed for 109 yards on nine carries with a TD.
Xavier Okwufulueze, Rejoice Christian: The Eagles’ talented senior receiver hauled in 11 passes for 236 yards and three TDs in a 48-27 win against Tulsa NOAH. On Tuesday, he announced his commitment to Oklahoma.
Jackson Parks, Pryor: Parks caught three passes for 110 yards, including a 55-yard TD, as the Tigers opened up their brand-new stadium with a 45-22 win against Sallisaw.
Ja Posey, Pocola: The Indians’ quarterback completed 28-of-36 passes for 402 yards and four TDs and added a rushing TD in his team’s 42-7 win at Antlers.
Knoxtyn Rallo, Piedmont: Rallo rushed for four TDs in the Wildcats’ 53-0 win against Midwest City.
Bruce “Trip” Roberts, Edmond Memorial: Roberts recorded seven tackles, two solo stops and one quarterback pressure as well as blocking two punts in the Bulldogs’ 35-0 win against Del City.
Braxton Russell, Colcord: Russell rushed for 203 yards on 23 carries and had four TDs in the Hornets’ 60-14 win against Oklahoma Union.
Derick Smith, Claremore Christian: Smith completed 17-of-24 passes for 406 yards and five TDs while adding a rushing TD in the Warriors’ 54-30 win against Wichita (Kan.) HomeSchool.
Jeramiah Ssettimba, Broken Arrow: Ssettimba completed 13-of-16 passes for 303 yards and three TDs in the Tigers’ 35-14 win at Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber. He also rushed for 76 yards on six carries with a TD.
Farris Sutteer, Anadarko: A junior, Sutteer rushed for 53 yards and a TD and also had the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime as the Warriors rallied past Lone Grove, 36-35.
Ryder Waddell, Poteau: A sophomore linebacker, Waddell finished with 12 total tackles, three of those for loss. He also forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles in the Pirates’ 28-0 win against Booneville (Ark.).
