Week 1 in Arkansas high school football featured several key performances, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Here’s a look at those top individual performances from Week 1.

Ryan Allen, Mountainburg: Allen rushed for 208 yards on 26 carries with three TDs and also completed a 52-yard pass in the Dragons’ 33-7 win against Crawford County rival Cedarville.

Trey Allen, Southside Batesville: Allen threw for 190 yards and also rushed for 48 yards and two TDs in the Southerners’ 49-6 win against Harrisburg.

Kane Archer, Greenwood: The Bulldogs’ senior quarterback standout did something he never did before - until last Friday. In Greenwood’s 61-14 win against Fort Smith Northside, Archer had a career-high five rushing touchdowns on just seven carries to go along with 68 yards. Oh, and he still completed 21-of-31 passes for 268 yards and two scores.

Mason Ball, Jacksonville: A junior tailback, Ball rushed for 176 yards on 28 carries with two TDs and added a two-point conversion in the Titans’ 25-24 win against Lonoke.

Xavyer Ballard, Pocahontas: Ballard rushed for 233 yards on 28 carries and had three TDs in the Redskins’ 34-21 win against Greene County Tech.

J.D. Beem, Gravette: Beem rushed for 136 yards on 17 carries and had three TDs in the Lions’ 34-6 win against Jay, Okla.

Ian Branson, Dardanelle: Branson rushed for a 28-yard TD in the fourth quarter which lifted the Sand Lizards to a 14-10 win against Elkins.

Emmanuel Bunting, Little Rock Parkview: Bunting completed 14-of-19 passing for 311 yards and four TDs in the Patriots’ 42-14 win against Maumelle.

Kingston Burnett, Little Rock Mills: Burnett threw for 184 yards and four TD passes, completing 63 percent of his passes as the Comets defeated Ashdown, 43-12.

Andrew Burton, Mansfield: Burton rushed for 281 yards on 13 carries and three TDs while adding a two-point conversion and making four tackles on defense in the Tigers’ 46-6 win against Waldron.

Dimitri Capo, Paris: Capo rushed for 91 yards and two TDs on just eight carries as the Eagles moved to 2-0 with a 34-2 win against Lavaca.

Titus Cramer, Rogers: Cramer rushed for 155 yards on 21 carries with a TD in the Mountaineers’ 47-6 win at Muskogee, Okla.

Cole Creighton, Shiloh Christian: The Saints’ QB completed 30-of-42 passes for 412 yards and three TDs in his team’s 44-13 win against Little Rock Christian.

Jeremiah Dent, Marion: Dent amassed 223 all-purpose yards - all coming in the first half - in the Patriots’ 51-7 win against Harding Academy. He scored a rushing TD, had a two-point conversion and returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score.

Tucker Dixon, Nashville: The senior running back tallied 176 yards on 15 carries and had three TDs in the Scrappers’ 47-20 win against Hope.

Brodie Dufrene, Clinton: Dufrene completed 12-of-15 passes for 113 yards and two TDs in the Yellowjackets’ 38-14 win against Heber Springs.

Josh Ficklin, Bentonville: Ficklin rushed for 143 yards on 17 carries and had two TDs in the Tigers’ 41-17 win against Conway.

Cash Forrest, Crossett: The Eagles’ quarterback completed 14-of-22 passes for 146 yards and two TDs and also added 122 yards rushing with a TD in Crossett’s 42-22 win against Watson Chapel.

Trevion Greer, Newport: Greer rushed for 266 yards on 19 carries and had three TDs in the Greyhounds’ 39-20 win against Batesville.

Carson Hayter, Springdale: The Bulldogs’ senior QB threw a TD pass but also rushed for 204 yards on 19 carries and three TDs - one covering 70 yards - in Springdale’s 52-41 win against Van Buren.

Carson Jackson, Lake Hamilton: Jackson caught six passes for 153 yards and had two TDs in the Wolves’ 42-0 win against Little Rock Southwest.

Kaleb Johnson, Fayetteville, The Bulldogs’ junior tailback rushed for 61 yards on 19 carries and also caught seven passes for 73 yards and a TD. But most importantly, he ran in the game-winning two-point conversion in Fayetteville’s dramatic 18-17 overtime win against Broken Arrow, Okla.

Carter Little, Charleston: The Tigers’ quarterback completed 21-of-32 passes for 303 yards and three TDs in Charleston’s 42-7 win against Pottsville.

Brice Owens, Springdale Har-Ber: Owens was 19-of-30 passing for 327 yards and three TDs while adding a rushing TD in the Wildcats’ 35-21 win at Farmington.

Dallas Perkins, Alma: Perkins rushed for 89 yards on 21 carries with a TD in the Airedales’ 29-22 win against Siloam Springs.

Brantlee Phillips, Mountain Home: Phillips completed 19-of-27 passes for 191 yards and three TDs while adding 59 yards rushing on nine carries with a TD in the Bombers’ 28-14 win against Harrison.

Mitchell Polk, Smackover: A senior quarterback, Polk completed 15-of-25 passes for 304 yards and six TDs and also added 136 yards rushing and three more scores in the Buckaroos’ 63-28 win against Fountain Lake.

Cain Price, Stuttgart: The Ricebirds’ QB completed 19-of-25 passes for 321 yards and five TDs in Stuttgart’s 48-14 win against Central Arkansas Christian

Orion Roberts, Arkadelphia: Roberts caught 10 passes for 180 yards and a TD as the Badgers rallied to defeat Hot Springs, 38-34.

Kyler Shelby, Bryant: A junior quarterback, Shelby completed 8-of-12 passes for 94 yards and two TDs in the Hornets’ 31-14 win against Newton, Ga.

Josiah Steen, Warren: Steen caught five passes for 217 yards and a TD in the Lumberjacks’ 28-14 win against White Hall.

Phillip Thompson, Gentry: Thompson registered 16 tackles and broke up two passes in the Pioneers’ 7-3 win against Pea Ridge.

Tre Thompson, Bentonville West: The Wolverines’ QB completed 21-of-26 passes for 386 yards and six TDs in his team’s 52-14 win against Cabot.
