Christain Reeves’ running helped his team finally cross the finish line in nearly two years.
Reeves, a junior tailback at North Little Rock, rushed for 304 yards on just 13 carries and scored two TDs as the Charging Wildcats defeated Little Rock Catholic, 42-13, for their first win since the 2003 season. One of Reeves’ two scores went for 92 yards early in the contest, setting the table for North Little Rock finally getting a breakthrough victory.
For his efforts, Reeves won the vote to be named as The Sporting News Arkansas Player of the Week from Week 3 (Sept. 15-21).
