Georgia's GHSA playoffs kick off this week with trio of Class 6A powers competing for national glory

The best high school football teams from the Georgia High School Association's upper divisions are routinely among the nation's Top 25 football programs in any given season.

The 2025 season has been no exception with four teams currently ranked in AllSportsPeople High School Football Top 25. Those four are also among the eight teams from the Peach State that have spent time in AllSportsPeople Composite Rankings where 72 total teams have logged at least one week in the index. That means one out of every nine ranked teams this year hails from Georgia.

The four teams currently ranked in The SN Top 25 include three of Georgia's GHSA Class 6A powers – the No. 2/SN No. 2 Grayson [Loganville, GA] Rams, No. 5/SN No. 6 Buford [GA] Wolves, and No. 15/SN No. 20 Carrollton [GA] Trojans. The fourth team is the Class 4A Creekside [Fairburn, GA] Seminoles. All four of those teams are undefeated at 10-0 entering Georgia's opening round of the postseason Friday night.

We'll update the brackets here each week for Georgia's top three classifications as the playoffs get under way in the Peach State.
