Picking just 15 players to headline our preseason All-America team was an arduous, if not impossible, task.

Case in point? There are at least 200 (yes, 200!) Players with a serious chance to emerge as a legitimate national player of the year candidate by the end of the season. Which is why before announcing our All-America teams, we first released our SN high school girls basketball national player of the year watchlist.

And yet, there is only room for 15 this time around. SN's three All-American teams consist of five players each. Criteria for the selections included players' individual production and team success in 2024 and prior seasons in addition to recruiting accolades.

Ontario Christian leads the way as the only school with two selections.

Saniyah Hall, G, SPIRE Academy, 6-2 – Sr. (USC)

The top-ranked in the Class of 2026 averaged 20 points, 6.6 rebounds 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in the regular season as a junior for a national championship finalist. In two games at Chipotle Nationals, Hall averaged 24 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 3.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. To top it off, she was the FIBA U19 World Cup MVP this summer before turning 17 years old. Last week, Hall became the third consecutive No. 1 player in a row to sign with USC.

Jerzy Robinson, G/F, Sierra Canyon, 6-1 – Sr.

The top uncommitted senior and one of the most accomplished players in high school girls basketball, the former Arizona state champion at Desert Vista looks to lead Sierra Canyon to section, state, and national titles in her third year as a Trailblazer. Robinson, a consensus 5-star playmaking wing and top-five prospect in her class, averaged 27 points and 10 rebounds a game as a junior and can defend every position at the high school level. She's the top-ranked uncommitted player in her class and is reportedly choosing between South Carolina, LSU, and UConn.

Kaleena Smith, G, Ontario Christian, 5-6 – Jr.

Smith led Ontario Christian to its first CIF-SS Open Division title and a No. 2 finish in the country as just a sophomore with 23.2 points, 8.1 assists, and 4.5 steals per game shooting 51% FG, 36% 3FG, and 87% FT. She was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year, the L.A. Times Player of the Year, and a First Team All-American, and is already on her third year in a row ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2027.

Olivia Vukosa, C, Christ the King, 6-5 – Sr. (UConn)

Long considered the top true center in high school basketball. Vukosa averaged 19.2 points, 17.9 rebounds, 5.5 blocks, and 3.8 assists per game last year to lead CtK to a NYSCHAA state title and No. 1 ranking in New York. She signed with UConn just before the start of the season, less than a month after committing in October.

McKenna Woliczko, F/C, Archbishop Mitty – 6-2 – Sr. (Iowa)

The National Player of the Year for her class as both a freshman and sophomore, Woliczko was the frontrunner for National Player of the Year across all classes as a junior before tearing her ACL in January. Now the 5-star Iowa signee looks to pick up where she left off for the top-ranked team in the country. She averaged 24.4 points and 9.9 rebounds on 58% shooting before the injury and is one of the top of the top defensive presences in high school basketball.

Maddyn Greenway, G, Providence Academy, 5-8 – Sr. (Kentucky)

The 5-star stat sheet stuffer and longtime Kentucky commit led Providence Academy to an undefeated season and MSHSL AA title as a junior. Greenway averaged 32.8 points, 8.7 assists, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.8 steals per game shooting 52% overall and 38% from three with 91 makes from downtown.

Tati Griffin, G/F, Ontario Christian, 6-0 – So.

The consensus National Freshman of the Year and currently the only 5-star prospect in the Class of 2028 per 247Sports. Griffin averaged 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.7 steals on 54% shooting (41% 3FG) to help lead Ontario Christian to a No. 2 ranking in the nation and its first CIF-Southern Section Open Division crown. She had season-highs of 29 points (11-18 FG) and four made threes to go with 11 boards in Ontario Christian's championship victory over eventual national champion Etiwanda.

Kate Harpring, G, Marist, 5-10 – Sr. (North Carolina)

Harpring led Marist to the GHSA 4A semifinals with 32.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 5.1 steals, and 3.7 assists per game as a junior. She's not only the consensus top-ranked point guard in the Class of 2026 but also the top-ranked player overall by 247Sports. 

Jordyn Palmer, G/F, Westtown, 6-2 – Jr.

With a unique blend of athleticism, size, and two-way playmaking on the perimeter, Palmer is widely ranked as a top-five recruit in the Class of 2027. She led the Moose to a PISAA state title and top-10 ranking in the country last year with 21.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 3.1 blocks and 2.6 steals per game.

Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka, G/F, Bullis, 6-2 – Jr.

A big, versatile wing and 5-star recruit, Wilson-Manyacka was even better than her outstanding stat line suggests as a sophomore for one of the better teams in the country. She put up 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game against one of the hardest schedules in hoops.

Jacy Abii, F, Legion Prep, 6-3 – Sr. (Notre Dame)

After missing her entire junior year with an injury, Abii has a chance to lead Legion Prep to a national title as a senior after spending last year building chemistry with the other Bulldogs. The Notre Dame signee averaged 20.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game at Liberty of Frisco as a sophomore in 2023-24.

Jordyn Jackson, G/F, The St. James Performance Academy, 6-1 – Sr. (Maryland)

Already one of the top players in her class as a freshman and sophomore, Jackson had by far her strongest season yet on offense to help keep Sidwell Friends in the national title hunt. She averaged 19.3 points and 6.8 rebounds a game for the nationally-ranked ISL and DCSAA champion.

Micah Ojo, G/F, Princess Anne, 6-1 – Jr.

The top player on the No. 14 team in the country. Ojo averaged 18.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 2.2 blocks a game for Virginia's top team and VHSL champion, which went undefeated excluding a one-point loss at The Throne national tournament.

Qandace Samuels, G/F, Bishop McNamara, 6-2 – Jr.

After helping lead the Mustangs to a WCAL title, state title, and some national title votes, the 5-star wing projects to take a major statistical leap as a junior for what could still be one of the best teams in the country. Samuels averaged 14 points and four rebounds last year and is one of the nation's top defenders.

Savvy Swords, G/F, Long Island Lutheran, 6-2 – Sr. (Kentucky)

The 5-star Kentucky signee looks to have a huge senior year for one of the top national title contenders in her return from a torn ACL that cost her all but five games of her junior season. Swords averaged 16 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and three steals on 60/40/90 shooting splits before the injury.
