Here are the nominees for The Sporting News Kansas high school player of the year:

Aiden Scott, SHHS (Tecumseh): Averaging over 334 yards per game, Scott has thrown for 2,006 with 15 touchdowns.

Savion Stone, Washington: Stone has a perfect 22 touchdowns and no interceptions, throwing for 1,604 yards.

Kasen Parsons, Osage City: Parsons is averaging over 214 yards per game in the air, tossing 17 touchdowns against just two interceptions.

Tucker Goss, Ellsworth: Goss has ran for 1,255 yards and 17 touchdowns in just six games, averaging eight yards per carry.

Jack Reeves SMEHS (Shawnee Mission): Reeves is posting 206 yards a game with 19 rushing touchdowns, averaging 9.6 per carry.

Cooper Reves, Salina Central: Reves is knocking out 211.6 yards per game, scoring 10 touchdowns.

Parker Schwarz, Prairie View: Schwarz has 1,039 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns, averaging 208 per game and almost 12 per attempt.

Camron Fields, Washington: Fields has reeled in 34 passes for 923 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 27 per catch.

Zayvion Hayslett, Washington: Hayslett has recorded 16 quarterback sacks and 17 hurries in six games, an average of almost three sacks per game.
